Varus - League of Legends
Varus revamp this time! I took more liberties with his design than I anticipated, but I'm pleased with my progress when compared to the other two. I really enjoyed playing with color here.
Finished product! Touched up the design with dramatic lighting elements after I finished up his base composition.
Finalizing the design and making things come together. Adding more detail, having things come forward while pushing others back with color intensity and illumination.
I was playing with a higher contrast here when it comes to the color scheme, but quickly found out that my choices were way too bright. I toned them down as I continued working.
Color blocking!
The start of the digital linework! This was a little more of a challenge for me- I'm trying to focus more on how the color impacts the figure rather than relying on the linework itself.
